JunkNuke
JunkNuke scans your Gmail and Yahoo inboxes for spam and moves it to your provider's junk folder automatically — you decide which domains count as spam, one click at a time.
Get Started/Register Now Log inHow it works
- Connect one or more mailboxes with an app password — JunkNuke only ever reads mail and moves it to a folder.
- Your dashboard lists the unread mail across every connected mailbox.
- Right-click any message to mark the domains in its links as spam (or as "well known" so you're never asked about them again) — JunkNuke immediately rescans your unread mail and moves matches to junk.
- Right-click a message to route all future mail from that sender's domain to a folder of your choice.
- Double-click a message to preview it safely — no images load, no links are clickable.
- Everything is private to your account. No other user of JunkNuke can ever see your mailboxes, your messages, or your domain lists.
Setting up a mailbox
Connecting Gmail
Gmail connects with an app password. It requires 2-Step Verification to be enabled on your Google account. Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords, generate a new app password for "Mail", and paste it into JunkNuke when connecting.
Connecting Optimum
Optimum doesn't support signing in through JunkNuke directly - use your regular Optimum account password.
Enter your full email address (e.g. jsmith@optimum.net) when connecting -
JunkNuke will log in to Optimum's IMAP server with just the part before the
"@" (your Optimum ID), which is what Optimum's server expects.
Connecting Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail connects with an app password. Sign in to Yahoo Account Security, enable two-step verification if it isn't already on, then choose "Generate app password", select "Other App", and paste the generated password into JunkNuke when connecting.
